Key Responsibilities
- check_circleProvide direct patient care to adult and pediatric ICU patients with complex diagnoses
- check_circleManage and monitor patients using CVPs, A-lines, Swans, EV-1000, and ICP monitoring
- check_circleRead and interpret cardiac monitoring strips independently using centralized telemetry
- check_circleCollaborate with attendings, fellows, and residents to deliver team-based patient care
- check_circleFloat to all inpatient units as needed, excluding Maternity and NICU
- check_circleTitrate critical drips including vasopressors, paralytics, narcotics, sedation, and antiarrhythmics
Requirements
- verifiedActive RN licensure
- verifiedMinimum 2 years of recent ICU experience
- verifiedCurrent BLS certification
- verifiedCurrent ACLS certification
- verifiedCurrent NIHSS certification
- verifiedAbility to read and interpret cardiac telemetry strips independently
- verifiedPassing score of 90% or higher on unit orientation skills exam
Nice to Have
Experience with CRRT, Impella, or intra-aortic balloon pump. Familiarity with neurosurgical patients or thrombectomy programs. Experience with hypothermia protocols or rapid transfusion devices.
