Your Next Assignment
This specific opportunity is for a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Utica, NY. The role involves delivering direct patient care to critical populations, including neuro, medical, and post-surgical patients. You will be responsible for monitoring critical conditions, interpreting hemodynamics, and managing complex therapies such as CRRT and Prismaflex.
The position requires floating to other units as needed and working a day shift on a 12-hour block schedule. Success in this role depends on your ability to collaborate with physicians, case managers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleDeliver direct patient care to ICU patients including neuro, medical, and post-surgical populations
- check_circleMonitor critical conditions, interpret hemodynamics, and respond to patient deteriorations
- check_circleManage CRRT and Prismaflex therapies and coordinate related equipment
- check_circleSupport neuro ICU needs including neuro checks, ICP monitoring, ventriculostomy care, and TTM
- check_circleAssist with ventilator management, invasive lines, and complex procedures during rounds
- check_circleDocument accurately in the EPIC electronic medical record and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- check_circleEnsure patient safety, infection control, and adherence to clinical protocols
Requirements
- verifiedActive New York RN license
- verifiedCurrent BLS and ACLS (AHA) credentials
- verified2+ years of ICU experience
- verifiedTravel experience required
- verifiedEPIC EMR experience
- verifiedExperience with CRRT and Prismaflex
- verifiedDriver's license with address matching demographics
