This role is part of CWT Defense & Government, a member of the American Express Global Business Travel family. Specifically, you will join the U.S. Military and Government team, specializing in seamless travel management services for federal clients.
As a Travel Consultant, you will provide outstanding customer service to defense and government travelers before, during, and after their business trips. Through a combination of outstanding people and innovative technology, we focus on ensuring that the travel experience of our customers is unforgettable from start to finish.
You will act as a trusted advisor, offering informed and insightful recommendations to create the best travel experience. Your day will involve handling a wide range of bookings, from simple arrangements to complex, multi-destination itineraries, and solving issues that arise during travel assignments. You will benefit from comprehensive training by experienced colleagues and utilize our social intranet to stay up-to-date.
Work and life at Amex GBT is about finding your happy medium. We offer flexible benefits tailored to each country, including health and welfare insurance, retirement programs, parental leave, and wellbeing resources. We also champion inclusion through global INclusion Groups and provide access to over 20,000 courses on our learning platform to help you develop the skills you want.
If you don't meet every requirement but are passionate about our mission and believe you'd be a phenomenal addition to our team, please apply anyway. You may be exactly the person we're looking for!
Important Eligibility Note: Because this role supports a United States Federal Government client, the successful candidate must be a U.S. Citizen; authorization to work in the United States alone is not sufficient. Employment is contingent upon the ability to meet government eligibility requirements, including the successful completion of both company and government background investigations, which may include a review of criminal history and credit records.
We accept Military experience and certifications as a substitute for some requirements. All applicants will receive equal consideration for employment without regard to age, sex, gender, pregnancy, race, color, citizenship, religion, disability, or any other protected class. We are committed to providing reasonable accommodation to qualified individuals with disabilities; please let your recruiter know if you need an accommodation at any point during the hiring process.
