About the Role

We are seeking a Transportation & Highway Technical Manager to provide senior-level technical leadership on highway and roadway design projects throughout Upstate New York. This role is ideal for an experienced Civil or Transportation Engineer who is passionate about transportation infrastructure and mentoring engineering teams.

As a Technical Manager, you will lead hands-on design efforts, guide engineering staff, and ensure high-quality project delivery for clients including NYSDOT and local municipalities. You will play a key role in technical decision-making, project quality, and team development while helping deliver impactful transportation infrastructure projects across the region. Key Responsibilities

Requirements

  • verifiedB.S. degree in Civil Engineering
  • verified8-15 years' experience in transportation, roadway, or highway engineering
  • verifiedProfessional Engineering License (PE) preferred or ability to obtain it

  • verifiedFamiliarity with NYSDOT design standards preferred
