Key Responsibilities
- check_circlePerform engineering design tasks for roadway, municipal, rail and port projects from preliminary to final design
- check_circleDevelop specifications, cost estimates, and prepare final bid packages
- check_circleProvide engineering design services for traditional design and design-build highway projects
- check_circleMentor and assist junior engineers in developing final design plans including cross sections and drainage
- check_circleAssist in coordinating design activities and meetings between design staff, subcontractors, and client managers
- check_circleParticipate in project decisions regarding technical approaches, cost and scheduling performance
- check_circleIdentify schedule and cost variances and develop and implement recommendations for corrective actions
- check_circleBegin to foster relationships with regulatory agencies, local government, FDOT and state clients
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in Civil or Transportation related engineering
- verified0 to 2 years of experience designing transportation/roadway engineering projects
- verifiedEIT licensure or ability to obtain within 6 months of start date
- verifiedMicrostation/Geopak, OpenRoads Designer software experience
- verifiedMicrosoft Office Suite experience
- verifiedBluebeam Revu and/or Adobe Acrobat experience
- verifiedAbility to pass pre-employment background check
- verifiedLegal ability to obtain employment in the U.S.
