About the Mission

Be a part of a nationwide law enforcement initiative dedicated to removing the tools of crime from criminal organizations. This effort aims to deprive wrongdoers of proceeds from their crimes and impact the infrastructure of criminal enterprises. The role directly supports the mission of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), which conducts national and international investigations targeting global drug trafficking networks and drug-related terrorism involved in the illegal growing, manufacturing, or distribution of controlled substances.

A key component of the DEA's strategic mission is the Asset Forfeiture Program, which implements major investigative strategies against drug networks and cartels, resulting in significant seizure and forfeiture activities.

About the Team

Compass Strategy Solutions (CSS) specializes in cultivating tactical and strategic intelligence personnel, financial analysts, and forensic accountants to support law enforcement efforts both domestically and overseas. As a Training Technician, you will join a team committed to providing the expertise necessary to sustain these critical operations.

About the Role

In this position, you will support the overall mission of the DEA by ensuring that training programs remain current, effective, and aligned with evolving policies. You will gather information to develop initial and follow-on curricula, often participating in working groups to address necessary subject matter. Your day-to-day responsibilities include developing training materials, organizing schedules, and providing logistical support for training events. You will also conduct training sessions, maintain accurate training records, and regularly review existing curricula to ensure they incorporate policy, regulatory, legal, and system changes. Additionally, you will publish periodic training and information advisories to keep stakeholders informed.

This position requires U.S. Citizenship and a 7 (or 10) year minimum background investigation. Candidates must be prepared to work onsite, as this position is not currently approved for telework.
