We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Medical Secretary for the Endo/Urology department in Garden City. In this role, you will serve as a vital support system for our practice physicians and management, ensuring the smooth operation of the department.
You will be the hub of information flow, managing the organization and maintenance of patient records, scheduling, and correspondence. Your day will involve coordinating the patient journey from initial appointment scheduling and insurance verification to the maintenance of medical charts and reports. You will play a key role in supporting special procedures, collecting data for monthly reports, and ensuring that all necessary referrals and authorizations are obtained to facilitate patient care.
