As an Executive Assistant II for the Radiology department at Tufts Medical Center, you will serve as a strategic partner and office coordinator for a senior leader. This role is designed to relieve the executive of complex details and advanced administrative duties, allowing them to focus on high-level strategy. You will act as a primary liaison between the department and board-level volunteers, physicians, and executive leaders, requiring a high degree of discretion, judgment, tact, and diplomacy.
The position involves managing confidential and complex assignments, coordinating large-scale internal and external meetings, and overseeing the design and implementation of departmental processes. You will function as the hub of departmental operations, ensuring the seamless flow of information and the efficient execution of projects that support the organization's operational goals.
You will be embedded within the Radiology department at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA. This is a dynamic environment where you will frequently interact with patients, medical staff, and department personnel. The role requires a deep understanding of hospital policies, operational issues, and the unique culture of a major medical center.
This is primarily an onsite role at Tufts Medical Center. While the standard schedule is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, a hybrid model is available, allowing up to two days of remote work at the discretion of the manager. The physical setting is a normal office environment, though the role involves frequent contact with diverse groups and the ability to work under pressure with changing deadlines.
