About the Role
The Training Specialist serves as a vital support pillar for the DMSS program, partnering with a dedicated Scrum Team to deliver complex training curricula. This role is designed to translate functional enhancements within the CODIS system into actionable user knowledge, ensuring that software updates are effectively adopted by end users.
In this hybrid position based in Stafford, VA, you will bridge the gap between technical development and user experience. You will analyze complex software enhancements to determine the most effective training approaches, designing and developing materials that prioritize the best user learning outcomes. Your work involves a continuous cycle of implementation and evaluation to validate training effectiveness, ensuring that knowledge bases and learning platforms remain current and accurate.
The role requires close collaboration with a diverse group of stakeholders, including the Client Program Management Office, Scrum Development Teams, infrastructure managers, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). By interacting with these groups, you will document end-user needs and translate intricate software workflows into clear, accessible training content. Additionally, you will support software testing efforts related to GUI and Help System updates, while driving continuous innovation by implementing industry best practices to enhance team efficiency and technical execution.

Working knowledge of Azure DevOps. Experience as a classroom or online instructor. Experience working in an Agile environment.
