Serving customers in all 48 contiguous states, our network spans more than 60 branch locations. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment and value diversity among our employees.
As a Traffic Control Technician II, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of work zones on state highways and other roadways. You will be responsible for setting up and taking down lane closures, redirecting traffic for workers or survey crews, and maintaining a secure environment for everyone on site. This position requires you to work independently or as part of a crew, following contractor directions to assemble, deliver, and pick up safety products from job sites.
Your day-to-day involves operating company trucks, MOT vehicles, and Truck Mounted Attenuators (TMA) to transport materials and protect work zones. You will place temporary construction signs, position arrow boards, and set up traffic cones and other safety devices. Throughout your shift, you will monitor the work zone to ensure all items remain in their proper locations and perform necessary maintenance on equipment. This role demands a willingness to travel statewide, work nights and weekends as required by projects, and be available for a rotating on-call schedule.
Applicants must be prepared to pass a background check, including a motor vehicle records check, and successfully complete a drug test to meet federal DOT requirements. Candidates must also successfully complete the ATSSA TCT intermediate training course.
We are an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will be considered without regard to race, color, religion, gender, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
