About the Role
The Construction Laborer plays a vital role in supporting public works projects subject to prevailing wage requirements. This position is dedicated to setting up and taking down lane closures while ensuring the safety of assigned traffic control projects. You will work on state highways and other roadways, redirecting traffic for workers or survey crews, either independently or as part of a traffic control crew. The role also involves assembling, delivering, and picking up safety products from job sites while following contractor directions.
Hiring Process
Candidates must successfully pass a background check, including a motor vehicle records check, and a drug test to meet federal DOT requirements. A valid driver's license and the ability to read plans and federal/state motor carrier safety regulations are essential prerequisites for the interview and onboarding process.
