About the Role
As a Traffic Control Technician II, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of workers and the public on state highways and roadways. This position involves setting up and taking down lane closures, redirecting traffic for construction crews, and maintaining work zones independently or as part of a team. You will operate specialized vehicles, including TMA (Truck Mounted Attenuator) units, to protect work zones while transporting and deploying safety equipment. The role requires a blend of field operations, equipment maintenance, and strict adherence to safety protocols.
Hiring Process
Applicants must be prepared to pass a background check, including a motor vehicle records check, and successfully complete a drug test to meet federal DOT requirements. The role also requires successful completion of the ATSSA TCT intermediate training course.

Requirements
- verifiedValid Driver's License
- verified1-3 years of experience and 2,000 in field hours in traffic control
