As a Tire & Battery Center Technician at Sam's Club, you will be the backbone of our service department, dedicated to providing safe and efficient service in both sales and service areas. Your mission is to deliver more of what our members love for less, ensuring every interaction meets their high expectations. You will work collaboratively with a team of associates to maintain the highest standards of safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
In this role, you will serve as a team member, an expert in tire and battery services, a tech-savvy problem solver, and an owner of your workspace. You will leverage digital tools to drive sales and improve the service experience while maintaining accurate inventory and adhering to strict safety protocols. Beyond technical skills, you will act as a talent ambassador, modeling high-quality service and fostering a culture of belonging where every associate feels supported and valued.
At Sam's Club, we are committed to creating a workplace where associates feel seen, supported, and connected. We embrace differences in people, cultures, ideas, and experiences, striving to build strong, trusting relationships through respectful and positive communication. We act with integrity, holding ourselves and others accountable to the highest ethical standards while supporting Walmart's goal of becoming a regenerative company.
We believe in serving our customers and members first, making decisions based on reliable information and balancing short and long-term priorities. We strive for excellence by displaying curiosity, taking calculated risks, and driving continuous improvements. Whether you are mentoring new technicians, resolving member concerns, or adapting to new technologies, your contribution helps us create a positive impact for our associates, customers, and the communities we serve.
We offer competitive pay along with performance-based bonus awards and a comprehensive benefits package designed for a happier mind, body, and wallet. Our offerings include medical, vision, and dental coverage; financial benefits like 401(k) and stock purchase plans; and paid time off for vacation, sick leave, and holidays.
Additionally, we provide Live Better U, a company-paid education benefit program that covers tuition, books, and fees for full-time and part-time associates. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. We also offer short-term and long-term disability, company discounts, military leave pay, and adoption and surrogacy expense reimbursement.
Walmart and its subsidiaries are committed to maintaining a drug-free workplace and have a zero-tolerance policy regarding the use of illegal drugs and alcohol on the job. This policy applies to all employees to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
Walmart, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We believe we are best equipped to help our associates, customers, and the communities we serve live better when we really know them. That means understanding, respecting, and valuing diversity—unique styles, experiences, identities, abilities, ideas, and opinions—while being inclusive of all people.
