We are looking for a dedicated TIG Welder to join our growing team at our Chittenango facility. This role is ideal for someone who wants to be part of a company poised for substantial growth with opportunities for advancement. As a key member of our 2nd shift team, you will perform Gas Tungsten Arc welding (GTAW) on investment castings, focusing on rework, repair, and cosmetic upgrades in strict accordance with customer specifications and internal procedures.
You will evaluate castings to ensure proper preparation, assess conditions to determine the best weld technique, and utilize die and belt grinders for additional preparation. Beyond technical execution, you will be expected to identify and implement improvement opportunities using lean tools such as Systematic Problem Solving and Value Stream Mapping. Success in this role requires a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and the ability to document weld locations and dimensions accurately.
