We are looking for a dedicated TIG Welder to join our growing team at our Chittenango facility. This role is ideal for individuals who want to be part of a company poised for substantial growth with opportunities for advancement. As a key member of our 2nd shift team, you will perform Gas Tungsten Arc welding (GTAW) on investment castings, focusing on rework, repair, and cosmetic upgrades in strict accordance with customer specifications and internal procedures.
You will evaluate castings to ensure proper preparation, assess conditions to determine the best welding techniques, and utilize die and belt grinders for additional preparation. Beyond the technical aspects, you will have the opportunity to identify and implement improvement opportunities using lean tools such as Systematic Problem Solving and Value Stream Mapping. Success in this role requires reliability, the ability to work overtime, and a commitment to adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
