About the Role

You will join a portfolio of brands with Marriott International to deliver exceptional guest experiences at our Lahaina, Hawaii location. In this position, you serve as a vital link between our guests and the culinary team, taking room service orders over the phone and answering questions on menu selections. Your day involves anticipating and addressing guests' service needs, including answering inquiries about the origin, vintage, and style of various wines. You will communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen while maintaining a clean and professional work environment.

Beyond order management, you will ensure guests are welcomed and acknowledged according to company standards, assisting individuals with disabilities and thanking guests with genuine appreciation. You will be responsible for logging orders in the MICROS system, processing all payment methods, and notifying guests and management of any service delays. This role requires maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information, adhering to safety and security policies, and supporting the team to reach common goals through clear, professional communication.
