Founded in 1876, The Boys' Club of New York (BCNY) is a youth development organization with the mission to empower boys and young men, ages 7 to 21, by providing effective programs and a supportive community. BCNY provides evidence-based programs to address the evolving social, emotional, health, creative, educational, and vocational needs of our members in meaningful, lasting ways. We strive to continually deepen and broaden our impact by cultivating positive qualities in our members.
The Teen Group Leader serves as a frontline guide for youth, ensuring a safe, engaging, and intellectually stimulating environment for boys ages 14 to 21. This role is central to our mission of building rapport through positive interactions and facilitating age-appropriate curriculum and activities. Beyond direct supervision, the Teen Group Leader plays a key part in managing program assistants and volunteers, fostering a collaborative atmosphere where every member feels supported.
As a COVID-19 proactive organization, BCNY is dedicated to maintaining a safe environment for both staff and members. While full vaccination is not mandatory for frontline employees, we strongly encourage all team members to be vaccinated and obtain a booster shot to uphold our commitment to health and safety.
Interested candidates should submit their application through our standard channels. The selection process focuses on finding individuals who align with our values of youth development and community support.
