About the Role
This position provides essential support services for camp teachers and administrators during the summer session. You will serve as a vital link in the educational process, performing routine clerical and instructional assignments within established procedures. The role requires handling sensitive information and interacting tactfully with parents, teachers, and staff.
In this capacity, you will assist teachers with camp duties, including providing small group instruction and skills practice as directed. Your day will involve supporting students one-on-one, in small groups, or with the whole class, as well as preparing classroom materials and assisting with displays. You will also supervise students on and off the school bus and during lunch, while providing necessary clerical assistance such as typing, filing, and maintaining records.
