The Before and After School Care (Y BASE) Site Supervisor is a year-round position designed to guide and direct programming for youth before and after school. This role serves as the on-site leader, ensuring a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for children.
In this position, you will act as a role model for both staff and participants, managing daily activities and materials while building strong relationships with families and the local school district. During the summer months, the role transitions to a leadership position for day camp programs. You will be responsible for maintaining the safety and cleanliness of learning spaces, adhering to all Department of Children and Families regulations, and upholding the YMCA's core values in every interaction.
Candidates must meet specific Child Care Licensing requirements, including relevant education, experience, and certifications such as CPR, First Aid, and Mandated Reporter status. The selection process involves verifying qualifications and ensuring a sincere interest in developing positive outcomes for children from diverse populations.
