This position is exclusively open to Snohomish County Treasurer employees represented by AFSCME. The role serves as the primary technology administrator for the assigned division, bridging the gap between daily operational needs and the broader Department of Information Technology (DoIT). You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of technology assets, from planning and acquisition to implementation, maintenance, and strategic forecasting.
In this capacity, you act as the division's liaison to DoIT, managing software roll-outs, operating system changes, and equipment replacements. Your work ensures that the division's technology infrastructure supports regulatory reporting, data integrity, and operational efficiency. You will also lead internal technology training, maintain the division's web presence, and enforce network security policies to protect sensitive county data.
Candidates must be current Snohomish County Treasurer employees represented by AFSCME. The selection process includes job-related testing, reference checks, and background checks. Offers are contingent upon successful completion of these requirements.
A valid Washington State Driver's License may be required depending on the specific division assignment.
