The Technical Service Engineer serves as a critical bridge between our Sales, Customer Service, and Product Development teams, ensuring world-class service for our customers. This role is designed to manage individual projects while collaborating cross-functionally on new product developments and enhancements. You will act as a technical consultant, investigating and resolving customer production issues by identifying root causes through lab testing and analytics. Your work will involve compiling and analyzing trial data to diagnose quality and productivity issues at both manufacturing and converting stages.
In this position, you will consult with production and quality engineers to maintain standards, anticipate customer needs alongside Product Development, and conduct research to implement continuous improvements with suppliers and industry resources. A key part of your day will involve planning and conducting training for manufacturing personnel and customers. Success in this role requires highly effective communication skills, a strong business and technical presence, and the ability to solve process and product problems both independently and as part of a team. This position involves up to 30% travel, which may be on short notice.
