About the Team

The Worldwide Public Sector National Security Team (WWPS, NATSEC) is a vital component of AWS Sales, dedicated to driving revenue, adoption, and growth within the largest and fastest-growing market segments supporting National Security. We operate with a "working backwards" philosophy, starting from our customers' most complex and business-critical problems to build and execute go-to-market plans that transform AWS ideas into multi-billion-dollar businesses. Our teams encompass business development, specialists, and technical solutions architecture. As part of WWPS, you will provide expertise across the entire lifecycle of an AWS customer initiative, from developing concepts for new services to accelerating the adoption of established businesses. We pride ourselves on thinking big, delivering exceptional results for our customers, and collaborating as #OneTeam across AWS.

About the Role

This position serves as a strategic partner for the National Security sector, requiring a candidate who is a US citizen with an active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph. You will drive revenue growth and customer acquisition by managing the full sales cycle for strategic accounts. Your day-to-day involves building and maintaining executive relationships with key stakeholders to understand their business objectives and position AWS solutions effectively. You will develop and execute account strategies that align AWS capabilities with specific customer mission requirements, driving cloud adoption across your territory. Success in this role requires collaborating with internal teams—including solutions architects, partner teams, marketing, and professional services—to deliver comprehensive solutions for high-priority customers. You will also be responsible for accurate forecasting, pipeline management to meet sales targets, and representing AWS professionally at industry events and conferences as a thought leader in cloud solutions for National Security missions.
