Gilbert Classical Academy is seeking a skilled History and Social Studies teacher to join our team of highly motivated educators. This position is designed for a professional who thrives in a collaborative environment, specifically focusing on strengthening ELA, reading, and writing skills through the lens of history. You will work closely with English department colleagues to create a cohesive learning experience that meets the unique needs, interests, and abilities of our students.
As a 10-month exempt teacher, you will be responsible for implementing a program of study aligned with state and district guidelines. Your day-to-day will involve creating engaging lesson plans, monitoring student progress, and fostering a classroom environment that encourages personal growth, decision-making, and positive self-image. You will serve as a mentor to students, guiding them through their academic journey while maintaining high standards of professional conduct and ethical communication with parents, colleagues, and the community.
