About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Social Studies/History Teacher for Rosemont Middle School to join our team for the 2026-27 school year. This position is integral to our mission of fostering bilingualism, biliteracy, and sociocultural competence within our dual language immersion program. You will teach middle school students in accordance with approved courses of study, ensuring that learning is both cognitively challenging and aligned with standards.
In this role, you will create a safe and supportive learning environment where students from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to participate and share ideas. Your day-to-day work involves developing engaging lesson plans, utilizing data to inform instruction, and providing differentiated support for English Learners and students with special needs. You will collaborate closely with department teams and educational partners to ensure student success, while maintaining open communication with parents and guardians to build a strong partnership around student learning.
