We are seeking a dedicated Social Studies/History Teacher for the 2026-27 school year at Wilson Middle School. This position is integral to our mission of fostering bilingualism, biliteracy, and sociocultural competence within our dual language immersion program. You will teach middle school students in accordance with approved courses of study, ensuring that learning is both cognitively challenging and aligned with state standards.
In this role, you will create a safe, supportive, and respectful learning environment where students from diverse backgrounds feel encouraged to participate and share ideas. Your day-to-day work involves developing engaging lesson plans, utilizing data to drive instruction, and providing differentiated support for English Learners and students with special needs. You will collaborate closely with department teams and educational partners to ensure student success, while maintaining open communication with parents and guardians to build a strong partnership around student learning.
