About the Role

PACE is dedicated to delivering high-quality Early Childhood Development services that nurture the educational, social, physical, nutritional, and psychological growth of young children. This position serves as a vital member of the Site Director's team, ensuring a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for children enrolled in our 11-hour, full-year classroom program.

You will collaborate closely with a secondary teaching team to manage daily routines, implement curriculum-aligned lessons, and foster strong partnerships with families. Your day will involve balancing direct child supervision with essential administrative duties, including maintaining accurate records, conducting developmental assessments, and facilitating parent conferences. This role is designed for educators who thrive in a collaborative setting and are passionate about supporting children's progress from birth to age five.

Hiring Process & Application

Candidates selected for this position will be required to complete a comprehensive background check prior to employment, including checks of the Sex Offender Registry, Child Abuse and Neglect State Registry, and FBI Criminal History Check. Additionally, applicants must provide verification of T.B. clearance and pass a health screening (LIC 503) within one year of hire.

Successful candidates must also possess current Adult & Pediatric CPR/1st Aid certification and proof of required immunizations (Measles, Pertussis, and Influenza). The role requires reliable transportation to the assigned work location and the ability to attend off-site assignments such as in-service trainings and home visits.

Equal Opportunity & Culture

PACE is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce. We actively encourage applications from individuals of all backgrounds. We value team players with outstanding interpersonal skills who can provide culturally and linguistically appropriate customer service to parents, children, and community members. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a strong asset for serving our diverse community, though not strictly required.

Compensation & Benefits

This position is scheduled for the 2026-2027 school year, effective July 1, 2026. PACE offers a competitive Total Rewards Package including a starting rate of $27.22/hour. Benefits include a 401(k) plan, vacation and sick pay, 14 paid holidays, pet insurance, and flexible spending accounts. We also provide affordable medical, dental, and vision packages for employees and their families, along with an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and opportunities for professional promotion within the organization.
