About the Role
We are seeking a Social Studies teacher for Thornton Middle School to join our team. In this role, you will perform effective teaching methods to ensure student success and promote an exemplary educational program that fosters achievement for all students. You will create a positive educational climate where students can learn, utilizing district curricula that reflect the diverse educational, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds of our student body. Your work will involve planning and delivering instructional activities, managing classroom behavior, and integrating competencies and objectives into lesson plans to meet course and school-wide performance goals.
