About the Team

As a key member of the Team Member Engagement Department at Congressional Country Club, you will help intentionally shape our culture, recruit top-tier talent, and develop scalable, strength-based learning programs. This role bridges strategy and execution, aligning hiring, training, and cultural systems to ensure every team member embodies our Core Values: Obsess Over Member Hospitality, Be a Thriving Team Member, and Develop Yourself and Others.

Grounded in best practices from Culture by Design, The Checklist Manifesto, Zingerman's Recipe-Based Training, and Talent Plus methodologies, this position combines cultural design with hands-on program delivery. You will foster clarity, discipline, and purpose in people-related systems, balancing big-picture vision with daily operational excellence.

About the Role

This role is designed to translate our values into clear behavioral standards and build rituals that sustain our culture. You will act as a Cultural Systems Designer, Process Excellence Practitioner, Recipe-Based Trainer, Strengths-Based Talent Developer, and Strategic Recruiter.

Your day-to-day involves creating standardized hiring "recipes" and checklists to ensure process excellence, while developing transparent decision-making processes that empower team feedback. You will design and deliver replicable, results-oriented training programs anchored in our vision and mission, supporting department leaders with the tools to coach, onboard, and grow their teams. Whether delivering workshops to groups of 5-250+ or analyzing the impact of learning initiatives, you will ensure consistency between what we say we do and what actually happens.
