This role is part of our Defense team supporting the CNIC program in Crane, Indiana. CNIC Regional Offices focus on improving operational performance and cost reductions through business process definition, analysis, and the development of technical capabilities that automate processes or improve transparency for analytics and decision-making.
You will serve as a key liaison among technical teams, construction and facilities partners, and leadership, delivering expert guidance to maintain secure, scalable, and mission-ready IT capabilities. This position provides comprehensive technical, operational, and project-level support across Service Desk operations, MILCON IT integration, and real property management.
In this day-to-day capacity, you will ensure the Command's IT infrastructure is effectively planned, implemented, and sustained. You will lead daily Service Desk operations, ensuring timely ticket resolution and high customer satisfaction while troubleshooting complex technical issues involving government-furnished equipment. Your work will involve coordinating with contractors, telecom teams, and external stakeholders to resolve connectivity and hardware challenges.
Beyond the Service Desk, you will manage end-to-end real property support, including the coordination of installations, easements, and the integration of IT systems with real property assets. You will also provide expert IT integration support for Military Construction (MILCON) and Special Projects, reviewing designs and conducting security site surveys to ensure infrastructure readiness. This role requires you to be on call 24x7 and travel up to 10% of the time to support surge needs or complex troubleshooting at various sites.
