About the Team
Global Real Estate and Workplace Experience (GREWE) is a global team at American Express responsible for the full lifecycle of planning, execution, and operations of Amex real estate. GREWE supports over 75,000 Amex colleagues and contractors in over eight million square feet of property located in 59 countries.
GREWE's purpose is to provide the world's best workplace experience at a competitive cost, for every colleague, at every site, every day.
The GREWE Property Development team is currently delivering a new global headquarters from concept to completion. This team leads the full lifecycle of the project—overseeing design, coordinating construction, managing stakeholders, and ensuring the building is fully prepared for operations. The goal is to deliver the headquarters on time, within budget, and aligned with organizational goals and future workplace needs.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleDefine and execute the digital and smart building strategy roadmap for the new global headquarters
- check_circleOversee integration of building systems including BMS, HVAC, security, and IoT sensor networks
- check_circleAct as central integration lead across design, construction, and operational readiness teams
- check_circleDevelop technical requirements, RFPs, and vendor strategies for digital infrastructure
- check_circleLead integrated systems testing and commissioning to validate performance and cybersecurity
- check_circleEnable real-time monitoring and analytics for energy efficiency, space utilization, and system uptime
- check_circleLead end-user experience enablement for workplace platforms, collaboration tools, and smart spaces
- check_circleEstablish interoperability standards for network, cloud, APIs, and digital twin ecosystems
Requirements
- verifiedProven experience delivering smart buildings, digital infrastructure, or workplace technology programs at scale
- verifiedExpertise in enterprise technology new product development, digital portfolio management, network and infrastructure, delivery, testing and GTM
- verifiedStrong knowledge of building systems integration and OT/IT convergence
- verifiedExperience defining and delivering an end-to-end technology roadmap
- verifiedHighly skilled in Agile product development methodologies, program and project management
- verifiedWorking knowledge of cybersecurity in OT and smart building environments
- verifiedExperience with digital workplace platforms and end-user experience technologies
- verifiedBackground in smart building platforms, digital twins, and advanced analytics
- verifiedFamiliarity with open protocols and integration standards (BACnet, MQTT, APIs)
- verifiedKnowledge of sustainability frameworks (LEED, WELL, ESG)
- verifiedStrong understanding of user experience (UX) design in workplace environments
- verifiedExperience implementing data and analytics strategies in built environments
- verifiedRelevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CISSP, LEED AP)
