We are searching for a talented System Admin to join our Managed Services team in Houston. In this role, you will be the backbone of our Tier II/III technical support, providing top-notch service to our clients. You will respond to end-user calls and trouble reports, diagnosing problems via phone, email, and on-site visits using logic, research, and isolation steps.
Your day will involve managing Microsoft Windows server technologies, including file servers, DNS, Active Directory, and virtualization platforms like VMware and Hyper-V. You will handle desktop and application support, new user setups, and vendor management while working independently to develop solutions that preserve Change Management controls. From building workstation images and configuring network devices to troubleshooting hardware and software issues, you will ensure seamless operations for our clients.
This position requires a collaborative spirit. You will work closely with the team to resolve aging tickets, communicate with vendors on network requirements, and document network-related problems to ensure timely resolution. You will also have the opportunity to participate in LAN/WAN projects and provide emergency support during nights, weekends, and holidays.
