About the Role

As the General Manager for Venmo, you will serve as the strategic leader for this portfolio, bridging the gap between Synchrony Financial's capabilities and the client's evolving needs. This role is designed to drive performance and growth by orchestrating the efforts of Client Development and cross-functional teams. You will be the primary architect of annual plans, ensuring that strategic initiatives are not only developed but effectively executed to meet key business objectives.

In this position, you will act as the face of Synchrony in negotiations and high-level discussions with the client. You will partner closely with client operations to drive training initiatives and manage gain-share incentives, ensuring a mutually beneficial partnership.

Our Way of Working

Synchrony is committed to flexibility, offering a hybrid work model that allows you to work from home near one of our Hubs or from one of our offices. While the role offers remote flexibility, you are required to commute to your nearest Hub for in-person engagement activities, including regular business meetings, training sessions, and culture events. This balance ensures you remain connected to the team while maintaining the autonomy to manage your workflow effectively.

We are building a future where everyone can belong and connect, supported by a workforce where more than 50% are engaged in Employee Resource Groups (ERGs). These groups provide safe spaces to learn, grow, and turn ideals into action.

We are proud to offer an award-winning culture and ensure that all qualified applicants receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status. We are committed to providing reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities throughout the application and employment process. If you require an accommodation, please contact our Career Support Line at 1-866-301-5627 (Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm CST).
