As the General Manager for Venmo, you will serve as the strategic leader for this portfolio, bridging the gap between Synchrony Financial's capabilities and client needs. This role exists to drive performance, foster growth, and ensure the successful execution of complex business strategies within the fintech and digital wallet landscape. You will act as the primary representative of Synchrony's interests, leading cross-functional teams to deliver on key deliverables while navigating the dynamic dynamics of the credit card and Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) sectors.
In this position, you will not only manage the financial performance and growth metrics of the portfolio but also cultivate deep, long-term relationships with client groups and key stakeholders. Your day-to-day involves orchestrating strategic action plans, negotiating contracts, and ensuring adherence to rigorous compliance and regulatory standards. You will partner closely with client operations to drive training initiatives and manage gain-share incentives, ensuring that both Synchrony and the client achieve their mutual business goals.

In-depth knowledge of how own function integrates within the business unit and of direct competitors (products/services).
