As the General Manager for Venmo, you will serve as the strategic leader for this portfolio, bridging the gap between Synchrony Financial's capabilities and client needs. This role is designed to drive performance and growth by orchestrating the efforts of Client Development and cross-functional teams. You will be the primary architect of annual plans, ensuring that strategic initiatives are not only developed but effectively executed to meet key business targets.
In this position, you will represent Synchrony's interests in high-level negotiations and foster deep, collaborative relationships with client groups and stakeholders. Your day-to-day involves steering the client team through complex business dynamics, managing financial performance, and ensuring adherence to all regulatory and compliance requirements. You will act as a key influencer, working closely with senior corporate decision-makers to innovate solutions and deliver on strategic projects that define the future of the digital wallet and fintech landscape.

MBA; Strong marketing, creative, and analytical skills; Ability to influence senior corporate decision makers; Ability to effectively interface and represent Synchrony Financial at the most senior levels in the client organization; Ability to innovate and find creative solutions to meet business goals; Proven experience with digital forward products and technical knowledge; Skilled communicator (both written and verbal) who influences and negotiates with great latitude on outcomes; Broad and comprehensive understanding of theories and practices in a discipline; In-depth knowledge of how own function integrates within the business unit and of direct competitors (products/services).
