The Surgical Scrub Tech is a vital collaborator within the surgical team, working closely with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesiologists to ensure the safety and success of surgical procedures. This role is crucial for maintaining a sterile environment and providing essential support throughout the operation. You will anticipate the needs of the surgeon, ensure quality patient care, and remain constantly vigilant regarding the maintenance of the sterile field.
In this position, you will not only manage the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary for surgery but also play a key role in the unique fertility procedures we perform. This includes preparing sterile embryo transfer trays and providing direct patient support during oocyte retrieval and embryo transfers. The role requires a blend of technical precision in the operating room and compassionate care for patients navigating fertility treatments.
