Under the direct supervision of the operating surgeon, you will serve as a first or second assistant in our state-of-the-art hospital in Jacksonville. This position requires a deep knowledge of anatomy, instrumentation, patient safety, and sterile technique. You will function in a dedicated environment that merges the art of healing with the science of medicine, utilizing advanced technologies across 34 operating rooms, including a specialized IMRI OR suite and a dedicated endovascular OR suite.
Your focus will be on the safe and effective exposure, tissue handling, hemostasis, and wound closure of surgical procedures.
