About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our NEW Newport outpatient pharmacy, which is opening soon. In this role, you will assist management in monitoring operations and productivity while supervising staff and coordinating activities with leadership. Your primary focus will be providing support for the efficient and effective delivery of quality services.
As a key member of the clinical team, you will perform all duties of a Pharmacist as prescribed by state and federal statutes, as well as Samaritan Health Services policies. This includes preparing and dispensing medication and assessing the clinical status of patients across the entire lifespan, from neonates and infants to adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. You will also serve as a vital resource by providing drug information to the medical team and educating patients on their therapies.
