Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) is a growing healthcare organization where more than 35,000 nurses, doctors, technicians, therapists, researchers, and teachers work together to make a difference in patients' lives. As a health care organization, we have a responsibility to do everything in our power to care for and protect our patients, our colleagues, and our communities. Your skill and compassion can help make us even stronger.
The 2026 Summer Youth Jobs program offers participants the opportunity to join the BILH team and make a tangible difference in people's lives. This program takes place on-site at BIDMC, where participants are matched with a specific hospital department to work Monday through Thursday. The role is designed for those with an interest in learning about careers in health care, providing a foundation in administrative and customer service duties assigned by department supervisors. Beyond daily tasks, participants will engage in weekly group meetings with peers and program organizers, focusing on healthcare career exploration, professionalism, and additional training.
Interested candidates should apply through the official BILH career portal. The selection process evaluates applicants based on their potential to contribute to the team and their interest in the healthcare field.
We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and welcome applicants regardless of background, including Veterans and individuals with disabilities. As part of our commitment to safety, Beth Israel Lahey Health requires all staff to be vaccinated against influenza (flu) as a condition of employment.
