When you join the growing BILH team, you're not just taking a job; you're making a difference in people's lives. As part of a health care organization with more than 35,000 staff members—including nurses, doctors, technicians, therapists, researchers, and teachers—we work together to care for and protect our patients, colleagues, and communities.
Our team operates within a close-knit, family-like culture where we hold one another accountable while ensuring we know how to have fun. We are dedicated to providing excellent patient care in a collaborative environment that values compassion and skill.
This Registered Nurse position is based at BID-Needham, located walking distance from the Needham Commuter Rail with free parking and shuttle service available. You will join a dynamic team operating six specialized operating rooms covering Urology, ENT, Orthopedics (Hand/Foot, Joints, Trauma), GYN, General, Colo-Rectal, Robotics, Breast, Plastics, and Pain/Spine.
In this role, you will be responsible for direct and indirect nursing care, health maintenance, teaching, counseling, collaborative planning, and rehabilitation. You will collaborate closely with physicians and other disciplines to ensure quality, cost-effective patient care. The environment is fast-paced, handling 20-30 cases per day, utilizing advanced technologies such as Surgical Robots, NIM, Aquablation, and Stealth systems.
You will work 10-hour shifts on a weekday, weekend, and holiday on-call rotation. Your day will involve formulating outcomes with patients and their families, delegating care activities to co-workers, and providing non-judgmental care that respects patient rights, autonomy, dignity, and confidentiality. You will also be expected to provide patient teaching and care in accordance with established plans of care and practice standards.
BID-Needham offers a competitive salary, an earned time off program, three HPHC Medical Plans, a 403b, an employer-sponsored pension plan, life and disability programs, and tuition reimbursement. We foster a great team environment where professional growth and personal well-being go hand in hand.
