About the Team

Lutheran Hospital has served the Wheat Ridge and surrounding communities for over 110 years. Evolving from humble beginnings as a tuberculosis sanitarium, we are now a 249-bed community-based hospital recognized as a Level II Trauma Center, Heart and Neurovascular Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, and accredited Chest Pain Center. In 2024, we opened a brand-new facility to provide greater access to life-saving emergency services. Our Operating Room features 9 surgical suites, including a heart room and a cystoscopy room, with specialties ranging from OB-GYN and General Surgery to Cardiac, Neuro, and our largest service line, Orthopedics. We are also home to DaVinci robotics on-site.

This role is part of a brand-new Ortho Surgery Program at Lutheran. You will join one of the first leadership teams in this department, working alongside a creative, hardworking, and close-knit group of surgeons and Ortho OR RN professionals.

About the Role

As an Ortho Surgery RN Program Coordinator, you will bring your body, mind, heart, and spirit to your work. In this role, you will supervise, lead, and coordinate the activities of personnel to ensure excellent, patient-focused care. You will serve as a role model, mentor, and clinical resource for your team, supporting associates in resolving issues and participating in performance improvement activities. Your day will involve overseeing staff training, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and partnering with physician leaders to create a culture of commitment to patient service, innovation, and integrity. You will also assist in managing staff, projects, and budgets while performing RN responsibilities as needed.
