About the Team

Lutheran Hospital has served the Wheat Ridge and surrounding communities for over 110 years. Evolving from humble beginnings as a tuberculosis sanitarium, we are now a 249-bed community-based hospital recognized as a Level II Trauma Center, Heart and Neurovascular Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, and accredited Chest Pain Center. In 2024, we opened a brand-new facility to provide greater access to life-saving emergency services. Our Operating Room features 9 surgical suites, including a heart room and cystoscopy room, with DaVinci robotics on-site. Orthopedics stands as our largest service line, alongside OB-GYN, General Surgery, Cardiac, Neuro, ENT, Urology, Plastics, and Podiatry.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a brand-new department as one of the first leaders on the team. As an Ortho Surgery RN Program Coordinator, you will bring your body, mind, heart, and spirit to your work. You will supervise, lead, and coordinate the activities of personnel to ensure excellent, patient-focused care.

Your day will involve serving as a role model and mentor, acting as a clinical resource for the department, and supporting staff in resolving patient and unit issues. You will participate in performance improvement activities, new initiatives, and the interviewing and selection of personnel. You will also oversee training to ensure compliance with all policies, laws, and accreditation standards, while partnering with physician leaders to create a culture of commitment to patient-focused service and innovation.
