Lutheran Hospital has served the Wheat Ridge and surrounding communities for over 110 years. Evolving from a tuberculosis sanitarium into a premier healthcare facility, we opened a brand-new facility in 2024 to provide greater access to life-saving emergency services. As part of Intermountain Health, a faith-based, nonprofit organization, we are proud to hold Magnet designation for nursing excellence and serve as a Level II Trauma Center, Heart and Neurovascular Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, and accredited Chest Pain Center.
Our Operating Room features 9 surgical suites, including a heart room and cystoscopy room, with specialties ranging from OB-GYN and General Surgery to Orthopedics (our largest service line), Cardiac, Neuro, and more. We are home to DaVinci robotics and a close-knit group of creative, hardworking surgeons and Ortho OR RN professionals.
Located minutes from I-70 and surrounded by parks, trails, and outdoor recreation opportunities like biking, hiking, and boating, our hospital offers a vibrant setting for both work and life.
We are seeking an Ortho Surgery RN Program Coordinator to join our brand-new department as one of the first leaders on the team. This role is designed for someone who brings their body, mind, heart, and spirit to their work, staying organized and moving fast while responding calmly in high-pressure situations.
As a Clinical Coordinator, you will serve as a role model, mentor, and leadership resource for the assigned area. You will supervise daily staffing and productivity, coordinate personnel activities, and support physician practices through integrated nursing practices. Your day will involve resolving patient and unit issues, participating in performance improvement activities, and partnering with physician leaders to create a culture of commitment to patient-focused service and innovation.
You will be part of a team that honors dignity, encourages joy, and takes pride in integrity. Together, we celebrate milestones, acknowledge the value of spirituality in healing, and believe that while individuals can be strong, the right team is invincible.
At Intermountain Health, we focus on person-centered care and extend our mission to provide comprehensive, specialty care to the poor, the vulnerable, and our communities. We believe health encompasses body, mind, and social well-being. Our generous benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, alongside a "Healthy Living" program that addresses holistic health through financial incentives, digital tools, tobacco cessation, classes, counseling, and paid time off.
We also offer financial wellness tools and retirement planning to foster a sustainable culture of wellness.
We hire people, not resumes, but we expect excellence. Qualified applicants will be considered for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status.
