We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to support students near Oak Park, IL, during the summer Extended School Year (ESY) program. This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners in a supportive school environment.
In this role, you will develop and implement individualized education and treatment programs for students whose ability to communicate has been impacted by developmental differences, disabilities, or injuries. You will work with a diverse caseload ranging from Early Childhood through 8th grade, serving students with significant disabilities, ASD, cognitive impairments, and medical needs. Many of these students are non-verbal or have limited communication skills, requiring the use of AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) and visual communication strategies.
