About the Role
The Lincoln County Highway Department is seeking energetic individuals to join our team as Seasonal Highway Workers in Canton. This is a fantastic outdoor summer opportunity designed for those who thrive in active, hands-on environments.
You will play a vital role in maintaining the County's highway and bridge systems, as well as assisting with the upkeep of County properties. The work schedule is Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, offering you 40 hours a week with three-day weekends. The position runs from May through August.
No previous experience is required; the department provides comprehensive training to ensure you are ready to contribute effectively from day one. You will work as part of a crew, focusing on safety, road repair, and general maintenance tasks while enjoying the outdoors in varying weather conditions.
