As a Structural Mechanic IV within the Special Missions team in Savannah, you will operate in a collaborative environment dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety in aircraft assembly.

About the Role

This position serves as a skilled specialist within a team-oriented work environment, independently performing complex structural assembly operations. You will utilize advanced tools, prints, and specifications to complete work assignments while ensuring strict conformance to company design specifications and customer expectations. Beyond individual execution, you play a vital role in the team's success by assisting and instructing other members, developing innovative techniques, and mentoring junior technicians in the interpretation of blueprints and engineering orders.

Your day involves a blend of precision fabrication and strategic oversight. You will perform assembly and fitting of detail parts, utilizing complicated schematics to safely layout, fabricate, and install components on aircraft. This includes coordinating with supervision and inspection to ensure compliance with FAA paperwork and quality specifications. You will also be responsible for planning and organizing workloads to meet schedule expectations, overseeing projects, and resolving production installation difficulties by developing shop aids and methods.
