As a Structural Mechanic 4 in our GAC Mesa facility, you will operate within a team-oriented environment to independently perform complex structural assembly operations. This role is designed for a skilled specialist who contributes to the development of employees and techniques, completing work in innovative and effective ways. You will be responsible for the assembly and fitting of detail parts and structures, utilizing complicated schematics, blueprints, and engineering drawings to safely perform layout, fabrication, and installation on aircraft.
In this position, you will not only execute high-precision tasks such as drilling, riveting, and fitting but also serve as a mentor to other team members. You will assist in training others on the interpretation of blueprints and engineering orders, developing methods and shop aids to resolve production installation difficulties. Your work ensures that all assemblies meet strict company design specifications, quality standards, and customer expectations, while maintaining compliance with internal and FAA paperwork and sign-offs.
We offer multiple shifts to accommodate your schedule. This role requires the ability to move to new tasks with minimal impact on established goals and to plan and organize workloads to meet or exceed schedule expectations.
