In this position, you will partner with the team to identify critical load cases, perform static, stability, and vibration analysis of metallic and composite structures, and develop, test, validate, and qualify aero-structural designs. You will employ classical hand calculations and finite element methods while analyzing design risks, anticipating potential issues, and reporting concerns to team leads and program management. Additionally, you will apply knowledge of materials testing, fatigue, damage tolerance, and military and FAA airworthiness standards to ensure robust certification processes.
