The Strategic Account Manager serves as the principal representative of RRD, acting as a trusted business partner to senior-level clients and decision-makers. This role is dedicated to understanding client needs and representing our products, services, and solutions through a consultative process. You will be responsible for maintaining and growing customer accounts by optimizing revenue opportunities, developing strategic plans with foresight, and promoting sales in creative and effective ways.
In this position, you will lead with client solutions, utilizing data, research, and insights to understand how customers spend their marketing, advertising, and trade dollars. Your day-to-day involves engaging with internal sales experts to sell omni-channel solutions, negotiating contracts, and creating compelling visions that challenge and evolve client marketing strategies. You will act as the primary point of contact for problem-solving, ensuring the tactical and flawless implementation of programs while cultivating new business opportunities and driving cross-selling and up-selling initiatives.
