Store Sales Manager- Sales (Bilingual)

This role is not your typical retail job. As a Store Manager, you will lead Mattress Firm's vision and Company Initiatives, achieving sales performance goals by holding associates accountable for the execution of in-store merchandising. You will ensure teams always put the customer at the center and create a compelling, engaging environment for team members. As an effective coach, you will develop associates' skills and performance, fostering a collaborative and motivated team dedicated to achieving success.

Your day will involve conducting one-on-one meetings to gain a deep understanding of your team's motivations and personal or professional aspirations. You will develop a comprehensive team 'bio book' that grows alongside your team, evolving to incorporate new insights. You will also conduct 30-60-90-day check-ins with new team members to discuss progress and opportunities. Beyond team building, you will manage workforce activities, analyze reporting to determine appropriate staffing levels, and partner with leadership to make staffing changes. You will serve as a subject matter expert, providing technical and product knowledge to associates and customers, while analyzing reporting to identify skill gaps for coaching.
