About the Role

As an Enterprise Sales Manager, you will lead a dynamic outside sales team dedicated to driving customer acquisition and retention within the Phoenix market. This role is designed for a leader who thrives in a hybrid environment, balancing strategic office collaboration with active field engagement. You will serve as the bridge between corporate sales strategies and local market execution, ensuring your team meets revenue and retention targets while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

In this position, you will not only manage performance but also cultivate a professional sales culture. You will act as a subject matter expert for escalated customer issues and represent Cox Business in the local community through networking and initiatives like the Chamber of Commerce. The role requires a hands-on leadership mindset, where you are willing to roll up your sleeves to support complex enterprise accounts while navigating change effectively.

Requirements

  • verifiedBachelor's degree in related field and 6+ years relevant experience (or equivalent combinations)

Nice to Have

3+ years of demonstrated success leading B2B sales teams with a track record of driving performance through coaching, accountability, and consultative selling practices. Hands-on leadership mindset with proven grit, willing to roll up sleeves and support sales efforts across large complex enterprise accounts. Experience in the telecommunications industry. BS/BA degree in a related discipline. Familiarity and knowledge of the local Phoenix Market. Experience preparing, compiling, and submitting bid responses for RFQs, RFIs, and RFPs.
